HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL, BARHARWA, JHARKHAND is an English medium co-educational School conducted by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Holy Family. It is governed by The Poreyahat Holy Family Society which is a Religious and Charitable Organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 Holy Family Sisters run several schools in India in which young people belonging to every creed, social class, community and linguistic group are educated through the medium of English and

the regional languages. These institutions are part of Catholic Church’s effort to share in the country’s educational understanding and are always at the service of the whole nation.It was “a dream come true” – of Saint Mariam Thresia, the visionary pioneer in the field of Family Apostolate to educate the children for a better tomorrow. The founding of the school by the Arunoday Province of the Congregation of Holy Family was an answer to the increasing demands for a convent school for the children in and around Barharwa, the hub of people with various origin and culture. Today, the institution has soared to envious heights of prestige and eminence. The school has been affiliated to the Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations.

Established on '06 April, 2009, the School is staffed by dedicated, competent and highly qualified Sisters and teachers who create and foster the ethos for the all-round growth and progress of the students.
